Alexander McQueen’s Legacy Celebrated at the Met

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in conjunction with the Costume Institute, presents Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, a display of the late Alexander McQueen’s designs running from now until July 31st. Spanning from his postgraduate work in 1992 to his posthumous collection in early 2010, the collection celebrates his near 18 years of design. Approximately one hundred of his designs will be on display, from iconic, elaborate McQueen pieces (his towering hoof-like heels, a zany blue-and-yellow disco minidress covered with scales) to simpler designs with his signature ultra-feminine silhouettes.

Find out more about the collection at its official website.
